The future of shopping in the hands of TikTok?

Have you ever seen a video on TikTok and immediately went to Amazon to find and purchase it? (The answer’s yes. We know.)

Although, TikTok shop is still in its testing phase, many brands are already finding value and making money with it. Interestingly enough, Instagram removed the shop tab in January and Facebook removed the live shopping feature in August 2022. We do know that TikTok users are almost 3x as likely to make a purchase than other social media users. So it’s our belief that baking this into the TikTok experience will yield positive ROI.

Is this right for my brand or business? It depends on what you are promoting and selling. If you have a brand that’s trying to get people off the platform to make a purchase, 100%. TBD if this will be as effective for authors, or personal brands with courses.
